ABOUT ME:
Sarah is an award-winning writer and performer based in NYC. She has been performing professionally since she was 9 years old and dressed up as a life-sized singing doll at the American Girl Place Theatre. She also has a phobia of bananas that has persisted since childhood. At least she’s consistent.
As an artist across mediums, Sarah strives to generate narratives about mental illness and trauma that combat stigma, validate individual experiences, and spark laughter. She is passionate about communicating uncomfortable truths to audience using humor and writing at the speed of thought.
Sarah received a B.A. in Theater, Dance, and Media from Harvard University in 2020 and an M.F.A. from NYU Tisch’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program in 2024 (Cycle 33). She is currently a member of the BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, Additional training includes Atlantic Acting School, Stonestreet Studios, UCB, the Groundlings, Second Stage, Freestyle Love Supreme Academy, and as an acting apprentice at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Her work has been performed at the American Repertory Theatre, Williamstown Theater Festival, Symphony Space, Classic Stage Company, Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, The Green Room 42, and The Other Palace Theater in London. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Maestra, ASCAP, and SAG-AFTRA.
